Execute Order 66:
Execute Order 66 (Animated style) The Animated Emperor Maquette is starting to ship from Gentle Giant and their distributors. Here are this first live shots of this newly released item. Gentle Giant says this piece is not from the Clone Wars, but who are they kidding? This has been highly requested by fans of the series. This item is limited to a 2000 edition run. Lowest of any non-exclusive maquette. Is GG trying to find the right target edition size of the Star Wars animated maquette line? Maybe, but at such a small edition size, this maquette might disappear as fast as the Emperor mini bust. This Jawa really enjoys the "glowing eyes" under the hood of Emperor Palpatine. Drop your thoughts about this piece, here in our forums.

Marzon the What?
What is this mom? I wanted Star WARS!The online site ToplessRobot.com takes a somewhat comical look back at toys that tried to cash in on the success of Kenner's (remember them?) revolutionary Star Wars line. The article, which lists their choices for the 10 Most Blatant Star Wars Toy Rip-Offs covers items like action figures, robots and even cases for your Star Wars, er I mean Star WORLDS figures. What prime hunk of collectibility made the top spot on their list? There's only one way to find out. Follow the link and check out the entire laugh-filled article for yourself.
