The Princess's Tale of the Tape
No underwear in space, but thy have tape?The website Contactmusic.com. has posted some small but 'revealing' snippets from an interview with Carrie Fisher on their website. In these bite-sized samplings our favorite princess touches on topics ranging from why tape was an integral part of one of her costumes to the occasional thought of a personal relationship with one of her co-stars. Han Solo, Dumb as a Stump?
Greedo Called Him Dumb Once...Once!While on a recent publicity campaign promoting the May release of 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' Harrison Ford sat down with the folks over at USA Today. Not only did he discuss the latest adventures of Dr. Jones, he also commented on another movie role he's famous for. Among the nuggets of information Mr. Ford shared with the paper is his belief that Han Solo was "Dumb as a stump!" He went on to say that "He's certainly got a good heart, but I think he's certainly a much less interesting character than Indiana Jones." Update from the P.A.S.W.C.S: Collectible Mania running Wild!
Get out there with Master V!The Pennsylvania Star Wars Collecting Society will be presenting a collecting panel entitled "Star Wars Collectible Mania!" at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA on Thursday, April 24th at 7:00pm. The Franklin Institute is currently hosting the traveling exhibit "Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination" and invited P.S.W.C.S. to host this panel to enhance the Star Wars experience at the museum. Five members of PSWCS will share their passion and expertise in Star Wars collecting, and will display an assortment of their collectibles for your perusal. The event is free, but if you'd like to attend, the Franklin Institute asks that your register ahead of time, as seating is limited.

Grimy Star Wars Live Action Show
According to MTV blogs, Steve Sansweet revealed, at this weekend's NYCC, that the Star Wars Live action show would be centered around the seedy parts of the universe. This could be a treat of bounty hunter stories. But it is any body's guess right now. Come into our forums to talk more about it here.

Star Wars 'Rings' in the Red Sox Home Opener
This afternoon at Fenway Park in Boston, members of the 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox were presented with their championship rings. The four outfielders from that team received their rings to the John Williams masterpiece 'The Throne Room/End Title' in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope, performed by the world famous Boston Pops. This piece, according to Red Sox officials, was selected because of its regality and splendor reflecting the myriad personalities of the Red Sox' spectacular outfield last season.

New Cargo: Firstshot Jabba's Sail Barge R2-D2 added!

Brad has sent us pictures of his wonderful Firstshot R2-D2 with serving tray from the Saga 2004 line. This is a welcome addition and we're pleased to add this to the cargo hold.
