Over the years George Lucas has done a lot of good in the Star Wars universe, but there is also a growing fan base that is, shall we say "unhappy" with certain decisions the man behind the Saga has made. To that end, the web site TheWrap.com has published a list of "Ten Things Star Wars Fans Hate About Star Wars". Included on the list are instances of intergalactic political filibustering, losing the will to live, and midi-chlorian counts. Care to take a shot at what the number one offender is? Something tells me a certain Rodian bounty hunter already knows the answer. |
Within the next week or so Wizards of the Coast will release "Masters of the Force", the final installment of their highly popular Star Wars Miniatures game. According to Wired.com, which has sneak peaks at a few of the figures included in the final set of booster packs, 40 heroes and villains will be available this time around. From Han Solo to Darth Vader, all of the main characters are present. There are even a few of the creatures from the holo-chess game played aboard the Millennium Falcon in Star Wars: A New Hope available. Booster packs, when available will contain 7 miniature figures each with a corresponding card that describes the character's abilities and statistics. |
Have you ever found yourself day-dreaming about what it would be like to have a minimum-wage paying job at an intergalactic cantina where you did nothing but serve drinks, get oogled by scum and villainy, and clean up the occasionally severed limb? Yeah me neither, but the creative folks over at THQ have managed to take this idea and turn it into quite the entertaining little game for the iPhone. "Star Wars Cantina" which will be available in the app store any day now, is inspired by time management games like Diner Dash and Burger Island and turns the game player into one of the cantina's wait staff where you can earn rewards for a job well done. |
