Is paint enough? We update our Sandwatch Guides with a retro-view of the first AT-AT collectors would be able to own in the modern era. The Imperial AT-AT Walker used the older vintage mold, but a retooled inside and added electronic features really put this one over the top. For the time it was incredible and the bonus of two exclusive figures really made it a must have. Dewback Patrol: White Hot in the Steel City
Taking a full charge! Our Dewback Patrol menu is updated with our second day of coverage from the Steel City Con. It was an incredible journey today as we greeted Matt Wood, suited up into "battle armor" and trooped it up with the great Garrison Carida of the 501st Legion. Our outpost may not have the visual stimulation our battle station provides, but you can bet our supply for the charity raffle tomorrow is fully operational! General, the new Clone Wars action figures are standing by. The new 2010 Clone Wars Wave 3 Magna Guard, Firefighter Droid, Captain Rex and Obi-Wan (Cold Gear) are ready for pre-order along with new Expanded Universe Comic Packs!

I'm sure many can agree that Sideshow makes some great 12" figures and occasionally a neat diorama or two. But it can be argued that the Snake Eyes vs. Red Ninja is their best effort yet. When swinging cardboard tubes and climbing trees in the backyard aren't getting it done anymore, this diorama will satisfy your fantasy. Place your pre-order now!

More newsletter highlights that rock: New MOTU Classic Skeletor and Beast Man Re-Issues, Asajj and Anakin FX Lightsabers, and 12-BK Luke AFA.

Dewback Patrol: Forging Ahead in the Steel City
We can still work from a Bunker! Our Dewback Patrol menu is updated with coverage from the Steel City Con in Monroeville, PA. The elements are pretty rough to deal with, and we were unable to transport our entire Battle Station. That isn't stopping anyone from coming out in full force and there is quite a bit of Star Wars collectibles on hand. We're in position for a great weekend and are looking forward to three fun filled days of spreading our message of United We Find. For more, check out the full report from the outpost as we deal with Hoth-like conditions! United We Find.

Mos Eisley News Brief: Anaheim to replace San Diego?
It appears the rumors of Comic-Con International perhaps relocating after 2012 might just have some merit. The forty year-old event has become an annual mandatory on many Troopers Dewback Patrol. The question still remains will they relocate the event from San Diego to Anaheim, CA? The number of convention-goers continues to rise and the limited space of the convention center could spell trouble. For more check out the NewYorkTimes.com for the

Hasbro Q & A Session: Round 2 2010
Latest Q&A from HasbroWe are happy to report we've received our second round of questions for 2010 from the high command of Hasbro for the month of February. Now that Sideshow is offering a Grand Admiral Thrawn that includes his command chair and an Emperor Palpatine with his throne, is Hasbro (finally) planning to produce similar accessories? Rumors are going around that your F/X Sabers will now come with a removable blade. If this turns out to be true, what are the chances you guys will be making Galen Mareks "unfinished" lightsaber? We encourage you to log-in to the forums and check out what they had to say. Do you have a question for the Hasbro Q & A Team? Log-in and leave your question in the forums.

Dewback Patrol: Frank & Son Star Wars Day
Throwin down the low-down!Our Dewback Patrol menu is updated with an event held in Southern California this past weekend. The Mandalorian Mercs teamed up with several other costuming groups and a couple special guests for Star Wars day at the Frank & Son annual collectible show. It was really cool to see the work of Jaing Skirata in action, as we've seen the tiny Mandalorian costumes he made for his two sons showcased over the past several weeks. I sure wouldn't want to be a smuggler in the Los Angeles area. For more, check out the full report from the battle field! United We Find.

Sandtrooper Barve Reports:
"Target has started clearancing their exclusives and have marked the TIE Fighter down to $19.98 up here in Bismarck ND. They still have plenty of them left too, with close to 15 of them sitting on the shelves in the clearance aisle and an end cap. Though most of the boxes aren't in great condition so they will mostly be openers unless your lucky. Still waiting for them to mark down that X-Wing though as they have a few of those left. They also have most of the figures from the ROTJ wave as well. North Wal Mart has their Dewback sets marked down to $20 and K-Mart is the only store in the area with turbo tanks left for $80, but you can take an additional 30% clearance items now until Valentines day, so you might want to pick one up for that special someone."

Area Report: What's Next?
This is just so wrong!I finally saw another one of the Geonosis Assault Battle Packs at Wal-Mart (west side of Indianapolis, IN) this morning. I am still trying to find more of these Battle Packs so can have them for my various Gunships. When I looked at the package, I noticed that some despicable THIEF removed the two Clone Trooper Pilots and put in the first modern Stormtrooper figure from POTF2 and where the Gunship Pod should be in this package, it to was removed and replaced with a round Coca-Cola Christmas bottle. Someone in the Indianapolis, IN area has been going around buying up some product and then later returning it to stores with different items on the packages. This is not the first time in the Indianapolis, IN area this has happened. I immediately took this package to the front desk and asked for a manager. I brought this to their attention and they said thank you for letting them know. I can only hope the workers at Wal-Mart start to pay more attention to people returning product. This is totally WRONG and is STEALING! If you cannot afford to purchase the product then do not purchase it at all.

Sandtrooper Starfox Reports: No Joke!
"If you have a Ross store near you go and take a look. I found the EE Exclusive Joker Squad on sale for $14.99 and the Pilot Evolutions on clearance for $7.49! Also, the Killeen Wal-Mart has reduced Dewbacks down to $15 and the At-St's down to $20. Target has the TIE Fighters down to $27.98....no new figures though. That's all from central Texas, Starfox signing out."

Mos Eisley News Brief: For a Good Cause
Lend a helping hand and bid if you can Troops! We normally don't bring light to individual Ebay auctions, but this one in particular I feel is something worth sharing with our community. The seller Gotsw has listed this Clone Trooper with a very unique paintjob. The listing states: "Known as the Guardian Clone (GDN-KT) his sole mission is the protection and friend to the milions of sick children worldwide. Needed in no more important time then that of a sick child in need of a laugh, hug, or protection through their everyday struggles. Along with astromech droid R2-KT GDN-KT makes the days of sick children everywhere that much easier to get through." It also states if the bidding goes over $125, an additional free gift will be included. For more head for the bay to get complete details, place your bid and get the

Sandtrooper TD 5491 Reports: Swamp Report!
"Dewbacks are still full price down here in da swamp. The Pilot Evolutions are down to $12 and some change. I asked Walmart when they would start marking stuff down and I got an answer worth posting. Down here in Louisiana, only can the District Manager mark stuff down. So I asked if he has to travel to each store in order for the markdowns to be done and she said yes. Wow, so that mean's I'll be waiting a while longer as we have those stores growing on trees down here. They did have those clone wars and legend two packs for $5 so I scooped a few and used my $5 off coupon which is for $20 or more spent on Hasbro SW toys, woot woot!"
