This week, Star Wars.com released the first glimpse of the cover for the eagerly anticipated book Deathtroopers. Billed as the first ever Star Wars horror novel, the book was penned by author Joe Schreiber and is currently on track for an October 27, 2009 release in paperback form. |

It's that time of year again fellow scavengers. Our sharp-shooting friends at sister site Sandtroopers.com have officially kicked-off their 2009 campaign in grand style. Instead of one or two prizes, this time they are going to open things up with FOUR spectacular prizes! They do need to see your identification and ask that you register in the forums and let them know you made your donation. Donations are already being accepted and 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Sturge-Weber Foundation. We will select the winner on February 28, 2009. For more check out the details page for more information. We understand these are tough economic conditions and hope everyone can do what they can to help the cause. United We Find and thanks for helping us fight FOUR a cure! |

Inventorspot.com has compiled a list of what they believe to be the 10 best Star Wars toys all true fans should have. Now I'm not sure why they omit something like the BMF from this list but feel the need to include a Yoda hat or Stormtrooper cuff links, but since it is their list I guess they get to make the rules. Regardless, check out their website if you're curious about what other odd-ball items made their 'best of' list. |

Several screenshots of two of Free Radical’s projects were leaked a few days ago. Timesplitters 4 and Star Wars Battlefront III were the biggest games Free Radical was working on before they went out of business, shortly after the release of Haze. The rumors of Battle Front III have finally been confirmed with the recent influx of images; however, whether or not the game will ever be made is still up in the air.
