INTRODUCTION Pictured here is a neat looking mockup for the Sandtrooper figure from the Saga 2 line. The figure has black ankle joints unlike the production figure white joints and also sports a slightly different (possibly hand painted) paint scheme than the production figures. This wave 3 figure is mocked up to a wave 2 AT-AT driver cardback with a Power Droid insert. He also has a blue Boba Fett mini hologram pack-in whereas the wave 3 figures were packaged with only red miniature hologram pack-ins. The card does have a datestamp that shows it was produced much earlier than any of the production figures. I acquired this piece about 2 months before the production figures were released as well. This was probably used to show what the final product will look like in its bubble and packaging.
