INTRODUCTION Pictured here is a very rare Salesman Sample prototype of the Power of the Force 2 line's Ponda Baba. The figure is painted with a different paint scheme than the production figure. The boots, hands, eyes, and beard are all a dark grey color. This figure is also carded with a square style bubble. All of the production figures came with stand up or slanted style bubbles. He's on a .00 cardback that has no datestamp. This was a part of a set of 3 samples I purchased a while back from a source who had a second of each sample that they sold several years ago. They were a joy to own but will soon be moving to another collectors home where I'm sure they will be enjoyed just as much.
