INTRODUCTION I'm pleased to bring you our newest addition. Pictured here is a first shot prototype of the McQuarrie Snowtrooper from the 30th Anniversary Collection and Ralph McQuarrie's signature series. This McSnowy is cast in production white and off-white and is totally unpainted and is complete with a non production white color blaster rifle (not pictured). The figure is sonic welded and while he does have pegholes he totally lacks any copyright or date markings. The top portion of this Snowtrooper's helmet is non sonic welded however and can be removed just like the lower part of his mask. This might have been a planned feature that was changed for the production figure but that is purely my speculation. Hopefully this will be the first of many of the McQuarrie line prototypes to be featured here and maybe one day we'll have examples of protos of each figure from this line here on The Jawa.
