INTRODUCTION
Here we have an early firstshot prototype of everyones favorite protocol droid, C-3P0, from the 30th Anniversary Collection. This proto is cast in a goldish looking yellow color. An interesting thing you may notice about this 3P0 compared to the production one is the lack of the "removable" eye that Salacious Crumb chews out in ROTJ. The eyehole is not drilled through though there is a hole in the back of his head that tapers down a bit and stops. This figure has no copyrights or even pegholes making it pretty early in the developmental process. Unfortunately little Salacious wasn't included and it is unfortunate for me that this prototype didn't find a home in my collection and instead resides in a friend's. At least it has a good home and I know he enjoys it.
